Nautical Star Tattoos A nautical star tattoo is a five armed star with each arm divided into two symmetrical parts, by a straight line. In olden days, sailors used to rely on natural landmarks for sea navigation. In the beginning of 20th century ,a group of homosexual individuals used this star tattoo to symbolize their sexual tendencies. Since then, the nautical star tattoos on wrist were considered as sign of homosexuality.
